   Combustion analysis (O₂/CO/CO₂), gas inlet/manifold pressure, electrical tests, delta-T across circuits, and inspection of venting/condensate. We also verify system pressure and air elimination.

2. Clear Options & Pricing
   Written estimate with good/better/best paths (when applicable), timelines, and parts availability. If a major component is borderline, we’ll show repair vs. replace life-cycle costs.

3. Expert Repair
   OEM-grade parts or approved equivalents, hydronic corrections (purge/bleed, valve setting, pump sizing adjustments), and code fixes (vent clearances, gas train).

4. Commissioning & Verification

   • Set outdoor-reset curve (mod-cons) and verify stable firing

   • Confirm delta-T and flow on each zone; quiet air-free operation

   • Test relief valve, expansion tank charge, and safeties (limits/LWCO where present)

   • For combi: verify DHW temperature/flow under load

5. Prevention & Warranty
   Root-cause explanation (air ingress, scale, magnetite, oversized/undersized pumps), maintenance plan, and warranty documentation.

• Radiant floors: We check mixing stations, manifold actuators, and slab warm-up strategy to prevent overshoot.

• Baseboard/radiators: We balance flows, bleed air, and correct low-return-temp issues that cause kettling or poor condensing efficiency.

• Water quality: Magnetite and scale reduce efficiency—ask about air/dirt/mag separation and inhibitor where appropriate.

• Annual tune-up with combustion analysis and gasket/seal inspection

• Keep system pressure and expansion tank charge within spec

• Bleed air and service separators; clean strainers and check pump performance

• For mod-cons: clean heat exchanger and verify condensate/neutralizer

• For combi: descale plate exchanger if water is hard

Why is my boiler short-cycling?
Often due to incorrect pump flow, air in the system, sensor drift, or an aggressive outdoor-reset curve. We test flow/delta-T, purge air, and recalibrate controls.

My radiators are noisy or gurgling—what’s wrong?
Air in the system, low pressure, or pump issues can cause noise. We bleed, set pressure, service air removal, and balance zones.

The relief valve keeps dripping—do I need a new boiler?
Not necessarily. A failed expansion tank or high fill pressure is common. We test/replace components and set correct system pressures.

I have heat but no hot water on my combi.
Likely a scaled plate heat exchanger, faulty diverter valve, or sensor issue. We descale and test DHW components.

Do you service older cast-iron systems?
Yes. We repair controls, venting/liners, circulators, and perform safe combustion tuning.

How long does a typical repair take?
Many are same-day. Special-order parts, severe scaling, or venting changes may require a follow-up visit.
